Jacob Ortiz

Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Keyboard, Drums, and Recording

Jacob has been singing and playing guitar/bass for over a decade. He has worked within the music industry for the last 6 years as a session/touring musician, songwriter, producer, content creator, and music instructor.

For vocals, Jacob developed his singing voice and vocal instruction methodology after working with Brett Manning (vocal coach for Paramore, Red, etc.) and Thomas Appell (vocal coach for The Offspring, Saosin, etc.). For all other instruments, he began playing in church in high school, where he learned rudiments and essentials from fellow musicians, which he applies in his lessons, alongside our provided curriculum.

Jacob’s passion for music and helping others is reflected in his teaching style, paired as well with a patient and down-to-earth approach to instruction.
